Lewandowski: Trump is the ‘Hemingway of Twitter’

President Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski called Trump the “Hemingway of Twitter,” this week, following his tweets about MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski.

“He’s the Ernest Hemingway of Twitter,” Lewandowski said discussing Trump’s recent Twitter attacks on Fox News.

{mosads}“He’s taken down his opponents on Twitter many times. You can ask ‘Little Marco’ or ‘Lyin’ Ted’ or ‘Crooked Hillary.’ We all know the names or ‘Low Energy Jeb,’” he continued, referencing Trump’s branding of his 2016 presidential opponents.

“But when you oppose Donald Trump, beware of his hundred million social media followers,” he continued.

Lewandowksi’s comments followed Trump’s attack on Brzezinski, saying he refused to see her during a Mar-a-Lago visit last year because she was “bleeding badly from a face-lift.”

The former Trump campaign manager joins a group of defenders of the president, saying Trump fights back when he is attacked.

Deputy White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, “the president fights fire with fire,” while first lady Melania Trump’s spokeswoman said, “when her husband gets attacked, he will punch back 10 times harder.”

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the president “acted like a human, and he pushed back” against MSNBC attacks.
