Baldwin offers to stop ‘SNL’ impersonation if Trump releases taxes

Alec Baldwin is offering to end his impersonation of Donald Trump on “Saturday Night Live” if the president-elect releases his tax returns.

The actor’s tweet came early Sunday in response to one from Trump, who said Baldwin’s impersonation “just can’t get any worse.”

“Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable!” Trump tweeted.

In the opening of the latest show, Baldwin portrayed Trump retweeting a high school student during a security briefing.

{mosads}Trump in October blasted an “SNL” presidential debate skit as a “hit job.”

“Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks,” he added.

The show played up the viral meme sparked by Trump lurking behind Hillary Clinton during the town hall debate.
