President Trump on Friday took credit for the creation of 20,000 jobs by telecom company Charter Communications, a deal that was originally made in 2015, during the Obama administration.

“Today, I was thrilled to announce a commitment of $25 BILLION & 20K AMERICAN JOBS over the next 4 years. THANK YOU Charter Communications!” Trump tweeted alongside a video with executives.

While Trump claimed that the jobs were newly announced, the addition of the 20,000 jobs was actually announced by Charter Communications CEO Tom Rutledge in 2015, according to a CNN fact check of Trump’s tweet.

The deal was approved by the FCC in May of 2016. Rutledge said this January that the addition of the 20,000 jobs would take place over the next three years.
