French soccer star Kylian Mbappé reportedly plans to donate all of his World Cup earnings to charity.

According to Sports Illustrated, the athlete earned roughly $22,500 per each of France’s seven matches in the World Cup, in addition to a bonus of $350,000 after the team’s victory against Croatia in the final on Sunday.

Mbappé first formed a relationship with the organization back in 2017, according to Le Parisien

In an interview with the publication, Sebastian Ruffin, the general manager of Premiers de Cordée, called Mbappé “a great person.”

“We were made aware by the entourage of the player and his family a few days ago,” Ruffin told the French outlet.

“We do not want to come forward, because the bonus would be paid only in case of qualification of the Blues in the quarterfinals, but we are very touched by the approach of Kylian,” he continued. “This is a very personal approach made by the player: We never ask for financial help from our sponsors.”

Mbappe, who received FIFA’s Best Young Player award, earned nearly $1.8 million monthly while playing for Paris Saint-Germain last season and is expected to earn much more in the seasons to come.
