Samuel L. Jackson praises Tlaib use of ‘motherf—er’ to describe Trump

Actor Samuel L. Jackson on Sunday emphatically endorsed Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s (D-Mich.) impassioned call to impeach President Trump.

{mosads}Just hours after being sworn in as a new member of Congress on Thursday, Tlaib took a microphone at an event and told the crowd of supporters that “we’re going to go in and impeach the motherf—er,” referring to the president.

Jackson, who is known for using the phrase in a number of his films, took to Twitter on Sunday night to “wholeheartedly endorse” Tlaib’s choice of language.

In many of his most well-known roles, including in the films “Snakes on a Plane” and “Pulp Fiction,” Jackson makes use of the phrase repeatedly.

Over the weekend, the freshman congresswoman doubled down on her comments, calling for Trump’s impeachment in an op-ed published in the Detroit Free Press.

Tlaib received pushback from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, with Republicans calling for “civility” following her remarks about Trump.

Trump said Tlaib “dishonored” the country and her family with the language she chose to use.

Fellow first-time Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has defended Tlaib, tweeting, “I got your back.”
