President Obama’s half-brother says he will vote for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

{mosads}“I like Donald Trump because he speaks from the heart,” Malik Obama told The New York Post from his home in Kogelo, Kenya.

“Make America Great Again is a great slogan. I would like to meet him.”

Malik Obama, who is reportedly still registered to vote in Maryland,  where he once lived, said he was deeply disappointed in his brother’s administration. He has long been a Democrat but recently decided to change his party.

He referenced the scandal surrounding likely Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of State.

“She should have known better as the custodian of classified information,” he said.

He also said he was drawn to the Republican Party because they don’t stand for same-sex marriage.

“That appeals to me,” he said.

Malik Obama said he’s ready for his brother’s term to end.

“I don’t think politics is my thing,” he told the Post.

“Honestly, I’ll be happy when my brother is out of office, and I will finally be out of the limelight and be able to live like a human being,” he continued.

“Mr. Trump is providing something new and something fresh.”

Trump touted the story on Twitter, saying Malik Obama was “probably treated badly” by the president.
