Carly Fiorina, a 2016 GOP presidential candidate, hit Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton on Sunday, saying she has “broken the rules” concerning her use of private email while secretary of State.

“It’s clear she broke the rules. It’s absolutely crystal clear she broke the rules,” Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, said on “Fox News Sunday.”

{mosads}”It’s crystal clear that she’s been engaged in a cover up of lots of things,” Fiorina said, mentioning Benghazi. “Of course she’s engaged in a cover up, and of course she’s broken the rules.”

Clinton pushed back on “inaccuracies” Friday after reports that the Justice Department has been asked to investigate whether Clinton possessed classified information on her private home server.

“Maybe the heat is getting to everybody. We all have a responsibility to get this right,” Clinton said.

Clinton is facing new troubles over the use of private email during her four-year tenure as secretary of State, ending in 2013, months after her use of private email was first revealed publicly.

A New York Times report late Thursday said two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to investigate whether sensitive government information was mishandled relating to Clinton’s email.

Another Wall Street Journal report Friday said one of the inspectors general told Congress that at least four of 40 reviewed emails should have been classified as “secret.”
