The Trump administration has left nothing for the writers popular political drama “House of Cards” to make up on their own, star Robin Wright joked on Thursday.

“Trump has stolen all of our ideas for season six,” Wright, who plays fictional first lady Claire Underwood, said Thursday during Variety and Kering’s Women in Motion talk at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

Trump’s administration has been riddled with controversy recently after multiple reports surfaced that he revealed classified intelligence to Russian officials and asked former FBI Director James Comey to end a federal investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn — before later firing Comey.

{mosads}Wright said during the event that, despite the recent reports that have surfaced about the Trump administration, she has to “see the hope somewhere.”

“Oh my God, we have four years of this,” she said.

Wright also offered her thoughts on who she wants to see as a possible future president.

“I want Michelle Obama up there,” she said. “She would be a great female president.”

Obama and those close to her have repeatedly said she has no interest in a political career.

The fifth season of “House of Cards” debuts on Netflix on May 30.
