Comey tweets quote about leaders taking credit and blame
Former FBI Director James Comey on Sunday tweeted a quote stating that a good leader takes “a little more than his share of the blame, a little less than his share of the credit.”

Comey has in recent weeks used his newly verified Twitter account to tweet quotes in response to current events.
Comey’s latest tweet, referencing the late businessman Arnold Glasow, comes hours after President Trump lashed out at LaVar Ball for not thanking Trump for helping secure the release of three UCLA basketball players from shoplifting charges in China.

Trump had asked last week whether the players would thank him for speaking to Chinese President Xi Jinping about securing their release. The players held a press conference the same day apologizing for the incident and thanking Trump.
On Friday, Comey tweeted a quote about integrity in the wake of sexual harassment allegations against members of both political parties.
In late October, Comey tweeted about “man’s inclination towards injustice” after former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was indicted on fraud and money laundering charges.
Trump fired Comey as FBI director in May, telling reporters at the time that the Justice Department’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential campaign was part of the reason.
