With just one day until Donald Trump is sworn in as president, his opponents are reporting increased stress related to his election.

Thirty-five percent of all Americans in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll report additional stress related to the election of Trump.

For people who supported Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the presidential election, that number is even higher. The poll found 65 percent of Clinton supporters say Trump’s election increased their stress level, with 39 percent saying it caused a “great deal” more stress.

{mosads}A third of Clinton backers, or 33 percent, report that the president-elect has not changed their typical stress level.

Among Trump’s supporters, only 4 percent say his election has caused additional stress. In fact, 31 percent of his supporters actually say his election has decreased their stress level.

A majority of Americans supporting his campaign, or 65 percent, say the election has not changed their stress level.

The poll of 1,005 adults, conducted from January 12 to 15, has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
